Dr. Charles Omondi Olang’o is an Anthropologist, currently teaching in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Maseno University. Currently, Dr. Olang’o is a Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) in a World Bank funded project, Enhancing Gender Mainstreaming and Social Inclusion in Validation and Adoption of Climate Smart Agricultural (CSA) Technologies in Kenya.

July 2018- March 2020: PI, The place of the Catholic Church in Ethnic Conflict Resolution through the Amani Mashinani (Peace at Grassroots) Model in Kenya’s Rift Valley. A grant of USD 50,000 to Maseno University by Nagel Institute of Calvin College. Contract No. 2018-TH490.

December 2017 – May 2019: PI, The Role of Governance in the Use of Innovative Pedagogies for Learning and Research Outputs in Kenyan Public Universities: A Comparative Analysis, A Meaning-Making Research Initiative project funded for USD 30,000 by CODESRIA for years 2017-2019. Contract No. MRI/CTR 13/2017.
