Fine art is a human ability to transform an idea into a form. The form so created is skillfully articulated to satisfy aesthetic or utilitarian factions. This course contributes immensely in all areas of the society such as social, cultural, economic, political, historical, utilitarian and personal expression.
The Maseno University PhD in Design programme is consistent with Maseno University’s vision premised on discovering and dissemination of Knowledge. This programme exposes its doctoral students to Design Theories and innovation inquiry using diverse methodologies within Aesthetic, utilitarian and Applied Art.
