DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY (PhD) IN INTERIOR DESIGN

The Maseno University PhD in Design programme is consistent with Maseno University’s vision premised on discovering and dissemination of Knowledge. This programme exposes its doctoral students to Design Theories and innovation inquiry using diverse methodologies within Aesthetic, utilitarian and Applied Art. The areas are diverse and primarily focus on creativity, contemporary Art, African Art, among other subfields of Design. Since Design forms occur in contexts where they interact, the interface areas relating to the foregoing subfields have become focal points of creativity and originality inquiry in the Ph.D. program in Design
